In our last post, we established that Teeth whitening is a procedure best done by a qualified dentist in a dental clinic to avoid complications.
We also advised that the first thing you need is to do a dental consultation / examination to assess whether you are a good candidate for teeth whitening, this means that you need to know whether you have a healthy teeth and gums suitable for teeth whitening because not everybody can undergo the whitening process.
Teeth whitening is the application of the whitening agent on your teeth after a gel like material is applied on your gum line as a barrier, preventing the whitening agent from touching and damaging your gums.
Teeth whitening can remove coffee stains, tea stains, stains from plant, wine and any other substances that generally stains the teeth.
It is important to note that your teeth must be clean from all food particles, so you might need to do scaling and polishing if you have not done any within the last six months.
In the next couple of videos, we are going to talk about what to expect from teeth whitening, the process, the draw backs and how long the white teeth actually last for.
